About this Project

The Riverside Terrace project involved the rapid supply and fit of modern electrical installations within a newly designed hospitality space in Cardiff. The fit-out was delivered on a fast-track programme to meet strict deadlines ahead of a major sporting event season. The aim was to create a high-quality, welcoming environment with advanced lighting and power solutions tailored for both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Evans Activities Comprised

– Contingency: Ensuring flexible electrical provisions were available to accommodate late design changes and client requests without delaying the programme.

– Emergency Lighting: Installation of a fully compliant emergency lighting system designed to ensure safe evacuation routes and meet regulatory standards.

– Testing & Commissioning: Comprehensive testing of all installed electrical systems to certify safety, compliance, and operational efficiency before handover.

– General Lighting: Supply and installation of high-quality LED lighting systems, balancing energy efficiency with premium aesthetics to enhance the hospitality environment.

– Feature Lighting: Bespoke lighting solutions to highlight architectural features and create a unique ambiance within the hospitality space.

– Data Installation: Provision of structured cabling to support Wi-Fi and IT infrastructure, ensuring guests and staff benefit from seamless connectivity.

– Small Power: Installation of power outlets and provisions for catering, multimedia equipment, and staff operational areas.

– Isolation & Removal of Existing Installation: Safe disconnection and removal of redundant electrical services to prepare the site for new installations.
