Brand-new Cardiff Bus Interchange for Transport for Wales – a centralised bus facility located next to Cardiff Central Railway Station and forming part of the wider Central Square development in Cardiff.

Enhanced links between the Interchange and existing train station are supported by clear wayfinding and accessibility features. Situated just a 50-metre walk from the station and alongside Cardiff’s cycle network, it promotes sustainable transport choices and streamlines onward journeys. The facility includes a 14-bay bus terminus and extensive ancillary space.

The Interchange represents significant advancement in integrated and sustainable transport in Wales and aims to make public transport an easier choice for people using the facilities of Cardiff.

We provided the full electrical installation (taking the design from RIBA stage 4 onwards, including CDP). Packages included LV distribution, small power, lighting, data, fire and security, access control, PAVA, power factor correction & harmonic Filtration.
